We are big believers in doing things properly at JR Parker Electrical. When underground cabling is installed we don’t just stick to the bare minimum requirements, we make sure our installation is going to last, is serviceable, and, above all, is fit for purpose for your electrical supply needs. Any cable that is installed in conduit underground is subject to many stresses such as soil thermal resistivity, moisture, movement and heating and all of these factors are taken into consideration when installing cabling so that your underground supply will last a lifetime.

JR Parker Electrical is proud to provide our very own Takeuchi 215R 1.6 tonne compact radius mini-excavator for underground power installations, particularly where access is tight. Our machine is fitted with a tilting quick hitch so we can dig on any angle and interchange buckets quickly and efficiently saving us time and you money. We pay great attention to detail with all aspects of electrical work and digging is no exception. We will ensure that your site is left clean and tidy once work has been completed so you’re not left with a yard that looks like a war zone!

We have also been lucky enough to work along side several local plumbers conducting stormwater, drainage and sewer repairs and installations with our machine. As such, we have had serious experience in digging around underground services and always take the time to check, identify and work around underground power, telecoms, gas and water pipes to prevent unnecessary damage.

We are fully licensed and insured to hire and operate elevated work platforms up to and above 11m with a QLD high risk work license (EWP). Whether it be a smaller slab scissor lift for working in the shed or a 140ft diesel boom lift to service stadium light poles, we’ve got it covered.

JR Parker Electrical works closely with the dedicated team at Logan Power Poles to carry out property pole installations, pole replacements and new connections on domestic properties. LPP has been servicing the region for over 30 years and we are always happy to work with their team to ensure your overhead power is connected safely and efficiently.
